We've got an article in the Heathwood neighborhood newsletter written by Gabby Cruz! I hope you enjoy reading about it! We'd like to thank everyone for supporting us our first year and we hope we continue to get your amazing support.
We've all gotten used to the idea of calling in an order to a restaurant or cafe, walking in to pick it up, and leaving as quickly as you came. We've also accepted that coffee shops or cafes are for grabbing a quick bite to eat or sipping coffee while studying; they've never been anything more.
We have two new additions underneath the Community Buzz tab. There is the Communal Wall tab and the Summer Events tab. If you're at The Local Buzz this summer, take a selfie and post it on the Communal Wall, or you can write a post about your visit! We're hoping to make a fun wall that people freely post on. The Summer Events wall will have all of the activities we're hosting this year. Where it's needed, there will be signup sheets and descriptions for all of the events we're hosting this summer.
Spring has brought about a new backyard and new hours. We have new racks of cups and a wall of local art!
I'm thrilled to inform you that here at the Local Buzz we are trying out a new tactic to delivering our updates: newsletters! We won't do just newsletters but also updates and news on upcoming events. If you're interested, type your email into the subscriber box and we'll send you the updates. However, this is our first time trying this out so there could be a couple of kinks here and there. If you have any suggestions, questions, or comments just enter them in the comment section below or the "Suggestions?" tab.
On December 21st you can come to The Local Buzz and paint your own mug! They are from the wonderful Mad Platter and it starts at 3:00! It costs $16.00 to paint your own personal mug. See you there!
Buy a bag of SC Strong Turtle Creek Coffee beans for $10.00. All of the money goes to helping families and victims of the flood. We would really appreciate if you bought a bag to help out our community!
